Was told by a rainmaker partner at Sidley DC that they wouldn’t be hiring clerks this year. Not certain whether it’s true.

I had a ton of movement prior to the bank fiasco happening now. Very little since.

Have they sent out offers? I interviewed and understood them to be in the beginning stages of the process.

Anyone have a sense of W&C's process for reference checks? As in, if they're calling your references post-interview, do you have a good shot or is that standard practice for them?

Yeah, I have always thought that if a potential employer is spending its time calling references, it must be interested in that candidate. Did you submit references with your application or did they ask for them after the interview?
