Following up on applications

Is this a thing for clerkship applications? I have emailed/mailed a few and it hasn't been very long but I'm just wondering if there is a point at which I should be following up, or just wait and either I get some kind of answer or I don't?

Don't follow up. Just wait. You'll hear or you won't. Assume you don't have the job until you hear otherwise.
Only exception: if you get another offer and would rather clerk with one/any of the judges you've applied to, then it's fine to check in and check on the status of their hiring process. Otherwise, there's no good reason to do so. Your application hasn't got lost; if they want to hire you, they'll be in touch.

TITCR. I know from experience, it sucks, but just try to put it out of your mind.
