USCIT Judges?

Has anyone heard anything about clerking on the Court of International Trade, or for any specific judges on the court?

I’m also interested in this. It seems like a great location and a good way as a litigator to work towards a specialty.

The court’s work seems to be heavy statutory interpretation and administrative law, which could be generally useful for future litigators. It looks a lot like appellate work, since it’s mostly resolved on summary judgment on an administrative record and after oral argument. Most of the judges on the court sit by designation frequently, mostly on 2/9, which is a great opportunity for clerks who might not otherwise be competitive for those courts to get some experience/possibly a foot in the door for appellate clerkships.

Since some of the judges are interviewing now, I’m wondering if anyone has any insight about particular judges, exit opportunities for clerks, and what a typical year is like there.
