And are you having firms from months ago come out of the woodwork now? Or is it mostly getting bites from the firms you recently applied to?

Not the previous anon, but I've been applying to firms in DC on a similar timeline as the previous poster (November through the New Year). I had some interviews last year and also have some firms just reach back out to me more recently.

To add another data point, I began applying across the V100 DC/NY offices in late December and received a slow trickle of screeners up until about two weeks ago, and since then the pace as picked up considerably, and I had two cbs this week with two more next week. NY seemed to move a bit faster than DC, but those cbs are split 2/2 between NY and DC.

- T14 + Coif + LR + major-city proximate (e.g. D.Md/DNJ) clerk

Any offers yet? Trying to get a sense of timeline for CB -> offer for clerk hiring.

To those who have interviewed/gotten offers, did/when did the firms call your Judge for a reference? My Judge obviously knows I'm looking, but want to give a heads up if someone calls chambers.

No, although I didn't apply to firms that *require* a list of references, e.g. Covington.

A friend at Gibson heard from recruiting that they’re scaling back clerk hiring this year and aren’t actively looking.

Had several interviews, but now silence. I know it’s early, but hard not to feel disheartened.

Several interviews is still better than some have gotten. Numbers game, something will turn up.

Sorry to be vague but I have offers from two of these three (was not at either pre-clerking).

I get a chambers recruiting mailer from them this week, for what it's worth.

Yeah, for the sake of everyone who's reading this and not commenting, my experience (and the experiences of my peers) has been more positive than the experiences spelled out here.

At what point should you infer no offer following a CB? It’s been about a week. V10. Another offer expiring soon.

Some helpful info: I applied to Molo last year and they invited me to a first-round interview (2 hours) within a week of me submitting my materials.

Does anyone know the turnaround time for Selendy, Kaplan Hecker, Morvillo, Holwell Shuster?

I had a half-hour screener with a partner three months ago, and then they ghosted me. Turnaround time was quick: two weeks after I submitted my materials.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
