Adding a post similar to the recent SDNY hours post --
Though it obviously differs from judge to judge, what does the work load generally look like for COA 2d Circuit clerkships? Weekends, predictability? How much does it vary for active vs. senior judges? Any information for particular judges?
Thanks very much!

Re: 2d Circuit Clerkship Hours
it depends entirely on the judge. close friend worked 80+ hours a week, including holidays. my s/o worked 30, maybe less -- long lunch, never touched a memo or opinion outside of chambers. I was more in the middle -- 10-7, some evening/weekend work, but nothing crazy

Since you're anon, could you provide the names of the judges that you and your friends clerked for?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 10:47 pmit depends entirely on the judge. close friend worked 80+ hours a week, including holidays. my s/o worked 30, maybe less -- long lunch, never touched a memo or opinion outside of chambers.
