Asking non-LOR prof to make calls

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Aug 27, 2021 6:51 pm

Is it weird to ask a professor who is not one of your recommenders if they would be willing to reach out to chambers on your behalf?

I have 3 great recommenders already set. But I have a good relationship with another prof who I imagine would be happy to write a letter.

I totally might be overthinking this, I just don’t want to accidentally annoy this other prof or leave some extra help on the table.

Nah, it's not weird. I had interviews with two judges because non-LOR professors reached out on my behalf.
