Clerkship Interviews During SA

Are BigLaw firms generally open to summer associates missing some time to do clerkship interviews?

All my friends and I had no problem taking time off for clerkship interviews. Some of us were at litigation boutiques that told us, in advance, that it was fine for us to take time off to interview (given the unstated expectation that almost everyone would clerk); others were at conventional big law shops where it also wasn't a problem after people raised the issue with the recruiting team. You'll be fine. A firm that would make a fuss about you taking time off to interview for clerkships is a crap firm.
