Silly question, but what way is best to sign the textbox cover letter on Oscar? Something like:
Best,
/s/ Bob Smith
or
Best,
/s/Bob Smith
Bob Smith

I think I'd probably actually go with door 3:
Best,
Bob Smith
But as a clerk who reviewed apps, neither of your other options would throw me off.
HOWEVER, for the love of all that is good and holy, if you send a hardcopy application, REALLY SIGN IT. It just looks incredibly lazy/slapdash/mail merge-like if you type out your signature on a physical piece of paper. (I realize this is not your question OP and am not picking on you, just wanted to make the PSA.)
Also, slightly less annoying but still grating, when you physically sign your cover letter, your signature goes between the salutation and your printed name (as in OP's option 2 above). Saw the other way about a dozen times while clerking.
ETA: Also, OP, I think you were just putting down words as a sample, but don't use "Best" as a sign-off on a formal cover letter. Use "Sincerely," "Sincerely yours," or even "Very truly yours," but not "Best."
