Mailing Clerkship Apps During Pandemic?

For judges that aren't on Oscar, is it worth mailing in clerkship applications at this time? Some judges are on Oscar, but are noting that mail OR Oscar is acceptable. I'm confused, are some judges not working from home? Normally people recommend mailing apps because it increases the chance that someone will read it, but during this pandemic I'm not sure if anyone is even there to regularly open the mail.

current clerk. I don't know any judges who are in chambers. I would do OSCAR. if they're not on OSCAR you can try mail but it may not get there, our courthouse isn't even sorting mail right now.

Many courthouses are still closed. If there's an email address for a judicial assistant (or equivalent) on the OSCAR profile or on a judge's court page you could try that. Otherwise, stick to OSCAR.

I sent out a lot of apps during the pandemic. I received responses and interviews, although my region might be unique. Any response I received was a long time after I sent applications.
