For judges that appear to be moving, is it mostly for 21 or 22 slots, or both (if applicable)?

Same. Trying to figure out how representative this is--and whether the judges I've applied to are still reviewing apps (and thus giving me hope that I haven't struck out).

My impression from previous threads was that there were a bunch of judges who liked to wait after the first wave so they could avoid getting their candidates poached by more fancy judges.

Applicant from last year here; this was true at least for me personally. One interview request 6/18, but the rest came a week or later after the opening date. I had one chambers call me in August.

Does anyone know if Judge S. Lynch is interviewing for 2021 right now or is conducting interviews for both 2021 and 2022? I know someone at HYS already interviewed with her today and got an offer.

My thoughts are that movement right now is for the shiniest objects (e.g. magna at HYS, Rhodes, worked on the hill etc). Once those people accept their DC circuit offers, the SDNY/DDC/non feeder coa judges will get to us mortals. Least that's my self-pep talk.

Man, I'm not even thinking about those judges. I want my E.D.N.C/W.D. Tex/E.D. Mich. judges.

Yup, same. I'm not here trying to win the biggest gold star, just hoping for a good year with a good judge.

FWIW, I got an interview invite from a W.D. Tex. judge earlier today.
