2020 Mag Clerkship to weather storm
I have recently been applying/interviewing for 2021+ COA and Dct clerkships. Once the economy tanked, I applied to 2020 mag/dct judges, of which there are not many. I have a corporate big law job lined up, but I wanted thoughts on doing this as a transition for other clerkships. I also assumed that business would likely be slower in finace, so this would be a good time to clerk. I am terrified of having my start date pushed back or worse. I have no debt, so I don't need to rush into big law. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

District court judges look very favorably on this experience, yes.

So there wouldn't really be any downside to my career?Wild Card wrote:District court judges look very favorably on this experience, yes.

My current offer is for a bank finance associate and I would like to return to something in that field, if possible.Wild Card wrote:Why would there be?Anonymous User wrote:So there wouldn't really be any downside to my career?
I just wasn't sure if doing three clerkships was too many. Assuming I am lucky enough to secure a dct and COA
