Was hoping to get a thread started with any clerkship movement in the new year. I submitted a ton of CoA apps last week for 2021 and beyond. I know I might never hear from any of them, so wanted to try to gauge what's happening another way.

Can anyone confirm that any judges are interviewing yet? Any good news?

My COA judge in flyover country has made one hire for Aug. 2021. I'm sure that lots of COA judges have either filled some slots or are actively interviewing.

Thanks! Did your judge make the hire in the past couple weeks or was it filled earlier? Can you give any more detail on the location or would that potentially out you?

In my chambers we’ve been mostly filled for 2021 for a while now.

I also applied to a bunch of COA clerkships last week and have no movement so far. My friend did as well last week and accepted an offer for a Senior Circuit judge in a flyover state recently

Thanks. Is your judge hiring for 2022, though? I guess I'm less concerned about a specific term and more concerned about what interview/hiring action is happening now.
