Post-Clerkship BigLaw Job Search. Is using a recruiter worth it?

Did biglaw for a year, and am wrapping up a 2 year fed clerkship. Don't want to return to my previous firm. I would ideally like to get a clerkship bonus. Is using a recruiter worth it? Anyone been in my shoes and can recommend either way? I wouldn't want to go through a recruiter and have to split my bonus. Located on the west coast.

I would think even cold-applying would be better than using a recruiter. Firms don't want to pay recruiter fees for juniors. And the post-clerkship job circuit is pretty well-established.
