Telling firm re: second clerkship after gap

I received and accepted an offer with a firm from 2L SA gig in a major market, and then received a fed. dist. clerkship. Told the firm about that, they congratulated and held my offer for 2020, per usual. But, since then I've received a CoA clerkship for about a year after I would start again at the firm. I'm concerned the firm might get annoyed (I know many firms prefer clerking right after graduation, and that leaving after working a short period can be disruptive to the business) about leaving so quickly for the second clerkship, and might rescind my offer to join in 2020. What's the best way to tell them to avoid that issue? Wait until I get there and start?
