Clerkship Applications Thread (2019)

This is for sharing application timelines and news. The date in the thread title is the current year of the thread instead of the term for which people are applying, since judges across the country are hiring for terms ranging from this year to 2024.
Spatt on EDNY is almost done interviewing, if he has not already hired, for 2020-2022. I'd be interested in SDNY/DNJ/EDNY news.

Anyone know how to go about finding judges not on the hiring plan without an OSCAR account?

Honestly, FedSoc. I believe all of the judges on the court I'm currently clerking on who are not following the plan are judges who hire through FedSoc connections. (They're a small minority--most of our conservative judges are on the plan.) If you're not FedSoc-inclined, word of mouth (professors and your clerkship office to the extent they're helpful) and asking a 3L friend who has OSCAR access to let you use their login to do research are your best options.
