2 yr associate looking to Clerk. Is no LOR from current firm a red flag?

I'm a second year DC big law associate thinking about applying for clerkships. I don't want to ask any supervisors for LORs because (1) I'm not sure I want to publicize that I'm thinking about leaving and (2) my stats aren't stellar so there's a good chance I don't get anything, thus I could be at the firm for awhile and I'd prefer not to be known as the guy who had people writing letters and signing up for Oscar accounts only to get nothing.
For anyone with knowledge about clerkship hiring, would this be a red flag that my LORs are coming from law school professors, past internship supervisors, or pre-law school jobs (consultant for 1.5 years before law school)?
I do list a current firm partner as one of my 4 references.
thanks!
