Dumb question about tax withholding and clerkship bonuses

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Sep 11, 2016 2:42 pm

For those who've received a clerkship bonus: When a firm pays you a clerkship bonus, do they withhold as they would your regular paycheck? So, do you receive ($25/30/50K or $25/30/50K * (1-applicable tax rate))?

Thanks.

Most firms withhold the tax.
