Whats the process to get on this ASAP while term-clerking? I have the appropriate form, which has an employer section--do I just bring this to HR on day one? Thanks for the help - been in big law and totally lost on this stuff, other than simple IBR.

You don't have to prove you had qualifying employment until you've made the 120 payments and want to apply for forgiveness - it's who you're employed by that matters, which doesn't change based on when you submit a form. Your X months of clerking will count regardless of whether you certify your job now, halfway through the clerkship, or 5 years after you finish (it's just more of a pain to get the paperwork completed after the fact). So no worries about rushing to get it done - you can bring it to HR any time you like. I did it at the end of clerking, since I figured it was easier for them to say how long I worked there after I'd finished rather than guessing at the beginning. (You're not actually "on" PSLF at any point - it's not a payment plan, it's something you can apply for after making the 120 payments on an eligible payment plan.)
