Clerking for a FISC Judge

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Apr 17, 2016 4:10 pm

Does anyone know how to go about becoming the clerk for FISC? Or otherwise, if clerking for a FISC-appointed judge would involve doing work for the FISC court?

They don't have temporary law clerks like other courts. They have permanent staff members called Legal Advisors who are usually alumni of the DOJ's related national security offices. See this article for some basic information. https://www.law.upenn.edu/live/files/24 ... e-courtthe

Current clerk for a judge who sits on the FISC here. We don't get to do any work on those cases because it requires top secret clearance. It's all done by those legal advisors mentioned above.
