Delaware Chancery Court?

I'm a 2L at CCN interested in applying for the Delaware Chancery Court. I'm wondering how competitive these clerkships are, and whether I have a shot with my credentials. I'll be heading to a V10 this summer. My GPA after 3 semesters is a 3.6, which puts me around top 15-20 percent or so I would guess. I'm on moot court and a secondary journal. Am I in the running here? Just curious about how competitive these things actually are. Thanks.

I interviewed and did not get one, but I don't think anyone really knows what goes into it. It seems prestige-drive to an extent but the way that some AIII clerkships are.

FYI, Chancery is apparently speeding up the process. It will accept applications only until February 28. Guess everything is speeding up.

Had not thought much about this option and so do not know much. Apologies for my ignorance: will firms give you a clerkship bonus for this? And must you accept it if offered as with an Article 3 clerkship?

Sorry to resurrect, but I'm wondering if anyone who has applied has heard from anything yet?

Got a call to interview from Bouchard and Laster. I was getting worried the spots have been filled since the application says the process is "rolling". Anyone news with anyone else?

Yes, firms recruiting Court of Chancery clerks pay clerkship bonuses commensurate with what they pay Art III clerks.
The etiquette re: offers and acceptances is the same.
