Emphatic NO. If the judge is interested in you, he will let you know. There is no way contacting the judge is going to benefit you. It can only hurt you, IMO.

It's unlikely that there is an urgent hiring need, so the judge is probably taking his time. And if there were an urgent hiring need, you would know by now.
