I'm about to start my clerkship and will be returning to my summer firm afterwards. I am planning my wedding and need to know when the bonus will be paid out relative to my return to the firm so I can pick a date when I can pay the vendors.

When do firms generally pay their clerkship bonus?

Yes, but I'd prefer to do so quietly/ not sure precisely who to reach out to.

I'm sure they'll understand given the wedding thing. Tell recruiting you had a question about your clerkship bonus and want to know whom to ask or reach out to an associate who clerked. This isn't some sort of state secret or something. They probably get this regularly.
