You have really good shot at district court. I'm not really familiar with circuit so hopefully other people can chime in.

I'm not too optimistic about my circuit court chances, but do you think I have a shot at the more selective district courts?

If OP is only focusing on the NE for 2015, her odds aren't that great for either district or circuit. Many judges have already hired, and many prefer alums. That said, if OP is willing to apply very broadly, I'd say her odds are decent at district, but unlikely at circuit.
