Parlaying Question

I have a circuit court interview in early March -- for a 2014 position. I was first contacted about this position in January, but had to push off interviewing for several months because of my work travel and the judge's schedule. The judge is interviewing other people, but was very gracious and told me that she would not make a decision until she interviewed me.

Another 2014 spot popped up in the same courthouse. Should I try to parlay? I'd feel a little weird since Judge1 is accommodating me, even though it's getting close to the 2014 start and she probably wanted to hire someone in January.

Yeah I would. You do suffer a small chance that she finds out and it puts her off. I think ultimately she never learns of it and, if she did, she understands how difficult it is to score a clerkship. So if she wants you, she can hire you. I think that's the very likely mindset, but again, minority chance she gets pissed off. I think it's worth the shot considering that she probably only finds out if you get the other interview in which case you've just increased your odds.
