How long is too long?
Hi all,
Had an interview with Judge Ikuta (9th cir.) a few days ago. Anyone know how long she typically takes to get back to candidates?

That's not a good sign. She sends snail mail rejections so check your mail in the coming week.Anonymous User wrote:Hi all,

I mean, maybe I'm totally wrong on this but could be that she's waiting to look at some applicants who just submitted after fall grades came out. Who knows though. Just trying to keep the flame alive.Anonymous User wrote:Beginning of January.

Ikuta listed as full on OSCAR.
Changed her status before sending rejection letters. Foul.

Re: How long is too long?
I interviewed (via google chat) with him back in late January. He said he was going to make decisions by the end of the month/early Feb. But that might have just been for first round interviews?Anonymous User wrote:Anyone have any info on Judge Bea?Anonymous User wrote:Hi all,

How do judges usually reject, just with silence? Seems kind of douchey to me.

They're just like all other employers. Some send you a rejection, some don't. The rejection may not come till months later. It just depends.

Re: How long is too long?
True. But some do it better than others. And maybe that says something about how they treat the people they actually hire. I got a rejection from Tallman last year and it was really nice. He sent me a letter, but also PDF'd it and attached it via email, so I knew right away. Thought it was pretty considerate.A. Nony Mouse wrote:They're just like all other employers.
