Has the court already scheduled interviews?

I haven't heard anything. I'm glad you started this thread though.

I know they have started reaching out for interviews

Do you have any idea when they started or when they'll be through? I'm also interest in MN CoA movement if anyone has any relevant info...

I know 6 people that got called yesterday for interviews, haven't heard anything myself.

COA won't move until after SC conducts interviews on September 12 and 13.

I'm top 20% at a decently ranked school in the southeast. I grew up and went to college in MN and then moved down here for law school (primarily due to a juicy scholarship offer). I'd like to know where I stand in relation to my fellow applicants.

OP here. called the court's hr dep't today. all SC interviews have been scheduled. yes, coa interviews will be scheduled once the supremes are done hiring.

Does anyone know how quickly the supremes make hiring decisions? Do you think coa interview offers will be going out by the end of September?

coa interview offers are likely to go out early september, i believe. basically, right after the supreme ct makes its decisions.

Guess I am out, never got an interview for SSC. Anyone get any COA interviews?

I have not heard anything. My status on the mncourts.gov website just says "application received" for my COA application.

This must be wrong. I received a call earlier this week from HR to schedule an interview for an SC clerkship.

Transfer into UMN from another local school.

Top 25% at 1st school
Top 50% at UM.

Was not able to get on a journal in time. Good work experience and legal intern and clinic experience.

Had an interview with a justice earlier this week. I was told I would hear back in two, maybe three weeks.

Was this for COA or SC?

From what I have been told all SSC clerkships have been filled. No news on COA. Good luck everyone. Personally I believe I am on my way to the Veil of Tears (3L Job hunting).

Protip: Justices sit on the Supreme Court, judges sit on the COA. Don't call a judge a justice, even if he is the chief judge, or he will call you out and you will look like a stupid law student.

Also, was called for COA interview last week Thursday. Pretty sure they scheduled all interviews last week.

Called for the pool interview last week. Didn't apply to judges not hiring through pool.

Do you mind broadly posting your stats? Also for the "pool" interview, did you go through the Minnesota Employment website?
