I know someone who interviewed with McKee a few weeks ago.
Any other movement out there? Also, what stats are needed for 3d Cir. generally?

McKee was done for 2014-2015 a while ago so he must be interviewing for 2015-16

I'm at Penn. I've been told she only wants clerks with practice experience, or specific recommendations from professors she is close with.

The Senate will likely confirm Patty Shwartz to the Court today.

It is pretty much. A couple of them are at least a couple years down the road, and take people with very firm connections.

Fuentes, Greenaway, and Chagares are reported to be full.

McKee hires many years in advance.

FWIW, Chagares hired an alum from my school last Fall. This person will be coming from a D.Ct. clerkship. I don't know if he fills all of his spots with alums, but that may be the case.

I understand this is discussed a little bit elsewhere in the forum. However, I'm wondering how exactly we (rising 3Ls) would apply? Would we just send a resume or all the standard materials? And to where?

TIA

Standard materials to her current chambers, addressed to Judge (not Magistrate) Shwartz.

Clarification, I am assuming that by current chambers you mean the chambers she is using as a magistrate judge right now?

Following up with the applying to newly confirmed judges, if they wanted a two year clerkship as a magistrate judge does that necessarily mean they are still going to want a two year clerkship as a circuit judge? I want to clerk a ton, but I also am not sure if I can really afford a two year clerkship.

Do we know if Shwartz will continue to sit in Newark for the Third Circuit?

Yeah, I'd send it to the Judge's current (Magistrate) chambers. Also, you can call them and ask.
