I don't know but I applied to him anyways.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know anything here?
Is Chin hiring?
OSCAR suggests that Chin and Livingston are, as well as some of the Connecticut judges (Walker in New Haven, Droney in Hartford).Anonymous User wrote:Is anyone still hiring for 2014?
I don't have any firsthand knowledge of this. I know that Livingston has interviewed off-plan in the past and wouldn't be surprised if she has begun interviewing for 2014. A Droney clerk I spoke to a few weeks ago said that he was not planning to follow the plan to the letter, but was planning to conduct interviews in June and July--so it's possible he's begun by now, but he likely hasn't ended. My guess is that Chin will follow the plan, perhaps as modified by the SDNY judges (i.e., will accept applications early but not interview until June 28). I don't know anything about Judge Walker.Anonymous User wrote:Have those judges started to interview yet?
I know that several judges have already hired for 2014-15 on the 2d Circuit, including one of the ones you just mentioned.Anonymous User wrote:I don't have any firsthand knowledge of this. Not to be pedantic, but I think that's the point--*most* 2d Cir. judges have hired for '14. In fact, most are full.Anonymous User wrote:I know that several judges have already hired for 2014-15 on the 2d Circuit, including one of the ones you just mentioned.Anonymous User wrote:I don't have any firsthand knowledge of this. Livingston has hired at least one, probably more.Anonymous User wrote:I know that several judges have already hired for 2014-15 on the 2d Circuit, including one of the ones you just mentioned.Anonymous User wrote:I don't have any firsthand knowledge of this. Curious about these judges as well. I know Newman's clerkship is peculiar in that clerks work remotely; not sure how or if that factor plays into his timing for hiring.Anonymous User wrote:Bumpity bump - any word on Kearse, Chin, Parker, Newman?
