Has St. Eve moved yet?
Yes, at least with interviews, but not sure where she is in the process otherwise.

Any insights/further info on Judge Brennan? Does he only hire Fedsoc or is he less political than say Sykes?

Just FedSoc as far as I know. He’s not one of the more desirable FedSoc judges so he’s not very grade selective by CA7 standards from what I understand. He’s pretty political.

Is Sykes political in her hiring? Individually, she's probably the most conservative one on the court, but I've heard that she doesn't seem to put a lot of emphasis on ideology of clerks and just has very standards for grades, etc.

He is very kind and a genuinely good guy, but all of his clerks are very very very FedSoc, and they will grill you to make sure you are too when they interview you.

Sykes hires exclusively FedSoc or awfully close to it. I’ve never heard of her taking a liberal from Chicago, unlike a lot of FedSoc judges.

Any word from Flaum recently? His posting expired but from folks I've talked to, it sounds like he never even started interviewing.

Flaum just revived the expired OSCAR posting. Not sure if that means he plans to move anytime soon.

Not a chambers clerkship, but has anyone heard from the Staff Office? Their OSCAR posting says they start interviewing "around July".

They've started interviewing, a friend of mine had an interview last week.

Still no word on Flaum? The posting expired July 1 and he only renewed it until July 31, so I want to believe he's planning to move within the next 2 weeks.

Kirsch's OSCAR posting changed to "filled" a couple weeks back, for whatever that's worth. St. Eve interviewed at least one grad last week, not sure about this week

Any news from the other NDIL judges who posted to OSCAR (e.g., Pallmeyer, Seeger, Tharp, Kennelly, Wood)? I imagine most have begun extending interview offers by now.

Feinerman and Chang are done hiring. I'm assuming the others have at least interviewed but I don't know for sure.

Seeger moved very slowly last year, he was open seemingly forever

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
