Any intel on Smith? Still giving out interviews?
No info specific to this term, but he generally gives a fairly limited under of interviews.

Any updates on Southwick, Elrod, and Clement?

I know Judge Brown has interviewed several but not sure if he has hired.

Unsolicited update: CJ Lynn has hired at least one from what I hear and rejected quite a few after interviews. Barker has made offers.

Anyone have any insight on the EDTX judges generally? In terms of personality, reputations, working styles, etc.

Any movement this week?

re: types of questions--those are indeed not unusual. Same with which doctrine would you overturn; favorite/least favorite justice; why are you an originalist/textualist; thoughts on pending SCOTUS cases
These make more sense I just thought the paper money question seemed a bit ridiculous.

A move to Jackson will likely lead to culture shock if you've never lived in the Deep South before. Are you hearing from CoA or from the D. Ct. in Jackson? You mentioned Graves, so I'm guessing the former.

Do you or anyone else know if he's looking at 2022 already?

I'm looking at CoA judges, correct. Of the Jackson CoA judges, I only know of movement from Southwick.

Per OSCAR, Graves isn't looking at apps until July, but trying to assess how it would be to live there for a year. Thanks for responding!

Any word on Jordan, Starr (not on Oscar, but whether he’s still hiring), Morales, Ellison (position expired on Oscar)?
