Post by Anonymous User » Thu Mar 07, 2013 1:21 pm

Anyone have info? I've heard Higginbotham and King are done. Any info on Smith or Jones?

King is indeed full for 2014. Recently received a letter from her chambers saying so.

If not, he's very close. I know that he has filled at least 2 spots.

Do you know which schools he has hired from so far?

So that makes three confirmed hires so far? If that's the case, it seems pretty likely he's full.

Well he takes four, so there's a chance he still has one open. His letter said to update him with anything relating to our employment status. Does that include other interviews I've received?

Right, he takes four. So there is one spot that isn't filled, though it seems like you wouldn't wait around a long time to fill that last spot. I'm assuming, though, that judges get kind of tired of the long, drawn out hiring process and just want to get it over with. That may not be true.

I'm not sure it would include other interviews. I think the main thing they would want to know about is other offers that you have (assuming they aren't exploding) so that they can expedite and give you an answer if they are your first choice.

Jones is interviewing, but does anyone know if she's hiring? I've heard she's going to take her time making offers. Is that true?

Smith has now hired 2 from Chicago. So that probably means he's hired a total of 4 and is full.

Pretty sure Higginson was full a while ago. I think his OSCAR page indicates as much.

Elrod has 1 spot left
Owen has hired 2 from UT/likely has 2 left
Prado has hired 3 from UT/ likely has 1 left

If that's true, Prado is now full.
