I applied to JD Boston a long time ago, accepted a position elsewhere, and withdrew my other applications. I got an email ding (no interview) about a month ago, but idk if that’s because I withdrew. No clue what’s going on there.

What were the general stats of you and the people who got offers. I don't really want to go back to my summer firm but if I don't have any other options I may have to. And even then I'm not 100% positive they have a spot for me given that I haven't been in contact since Summer 2021.
My judge is shocked how slow it's been for me and my co-clerk. I reached out to her old firm with the referral of her friend two weeks ago and haven't even heard anything from them. And the firms I talk to seem to think I'm inundated with options. So I don't get what's up. Just not how I saw it going at all and wanted to vent.
I went to a T20 (not a T14) and was in the top 25% and the other clerks I know with multiple offers went to a T40 and were also in the top 25% and I think they were all in law review as well. How competitive are you aside from the clerkship and have you worked in biglaw before? Top third at T14 and have not worked in biglaw. Normally with someone like this I'd recommend being fairly narrow, but it's super late. Was this a last minute change? May be worth applying to 2024 clerkships to see if you can start fresh again with apps. The only real advice is to apply to any position that’s still open. Boutique firms are likely done hiring at this point, but at least some Big Law firms might still have openings. I got a recruiter email about BraunHagey & Borden (SF and NY offices only I think) so it looks like they are still hiring on the boutique side.
