I'm in and can't wait to get started.

Currently scheduled to break ground this fall and open Fall 2015. AFAIK the necessary state funding got approved by the GA General Assembly this legislative session.

It did, just waiting on Governor Deal to sign the dotted line, but considering he pushed for it because of the urging of the Board of Regents I believe it's a done deal.

I'm going! Can't wait to get up in Atlanta and officially start law school!

Just found out last week that I'm in. Barring a FAFSA/aid eligibility catastrophe, I look forward to starting in August!

FWIW, I may be an unusually good resource for housing advice, if you're not familiar with the Atlanta student housing market. I moved here (and started grad school) in 2004, and I lived in a variety of student budget-feasible apartments before buying a house a little over three years ago. I have also worked all over town, currently about a mile from the current Georgia State law building (as the crow flies). Additionally, my younger brother has lived in multiple Midtown/Downtown locations, and I've been fully apprised regarding his housing searches these past few years.

As such, please don't hesitate to hit me up via PM if you have housing questions or want personal advice on Atlanta in general. I don't check in here daily, but I promise I'll reply to any PMs whenever I do get them.

Congrats! I don't know if you saw above, but I'm trying to get a little group meeting at the Brickstore next Sunday to get to know each other and I'd definitely want to talk more about housing. I'm sure it's of pretty keen interest to others as well.

I'm in! Got a pretty sweet deal that I could not pass up. Will be moving down with the gf from Akron, Ohio (spent most of high school in Georgia and want to get back down). If anyone had any housing advice it would be much appreciated.

I just realized Sunday is Mother's Day, lets do the meet sunday 19th, not the 12th.

Followed all directions, still not in the FB group. I would think that meant something except I've gotten that "important info for admitted students" email about the Panther email acct & PAWS 3 times already...

Hey gang, for those of you interested in the meet up this Sunday, pm me and i'll give you my contact info to help in meeting up as as well as give me a rough head count.
