Good call on creating the thread.
I'm 95% sure that I'll end up going with my UCI scholly even if I get into UCLA/USC (since those will be at sticker).
Excited to be an anteater!

Where did you go to undergrad? I think I am the first from mine, ASU (according to the represented UG sheet in the admit packet). Grad degree is from Northwestern.

Both degrees in communication but the degrees are vastly different. Undergrad was theory based and my grad degree was an executive program so it was very business focused. Most people in the program were marketing or business professionals.
What about you?

Ha, I've worked full time since high school so I'm definitely used to it. It's actually weird only working right now since I always took 5-6 classes a semester and the grad degree was accelerated. But my mind is definitely in law school right now and I'm counting the days.

I personally relate more to Moody. Both great though.

I will probably be there too, but I would say I am only 85% sure at the moment. My UG is university of Pittsburgh, it will be nice getting back to great weather after 3 miserable years here -.-

Only downside: my UG was at cal state fullerton, so I'll be right back where i started from..

Did you happen to go to one of the high schools near CSUF?

Depends on what you mean by "near". I went to high school about 25 miles away

Never mind, I was afraid I may actually know who you are since I went to high school within like 5 miles of the school. I may or may not have dodged a bullet there.

Haha no worries and I know what you mean. I have a love/hate relationship with knowing people in general

Checking in. Hoping for free stuff at ASW. As someone still in undergrad, that would just about seal the deal for me.

Checking in. I'm with you 95%'ers.
Between the scholarship, the new LRAP, and the guaranteed offer of housing, I'm pretty well sold. Plus, my husband has family in San Diego and the area has such a variety of school choices for him as well. I can't imagine another school will turn out to be a better option!
Wish I could make it to ASW! Everyone who goes should take pictures and post them here

I'll add this and any info I can think of that would be useful. Probably late tonight or tomorrow though (haven't been home yet).

So given a good scholy, I'll most likely (maybe 95%?) be coming here as I feel it's leaps better than Pepperdine/Loyola and I don't really like Hastings. Does "you will be considered for "priority funding"" mean I get a decent scholy? Still waiting on that info.
Also, UCB grads represent. Rhet/anthro here.
edit: got the letter. 30k/yr provided 2.0 gpa is more attractive than my Pepperdine offer of 32k top 50%. Count me in.
