I'm pretty sure it will include a $30k off high priced NYU education coupon, redeemable at GSU.
True !!! I would so rather save the money than have a shrink wrapped gavel shirt! For 47k they better have provided the computer, the speakers, and the apartment in which the photo was taken lol.

I already bought that one at the bookstore, anyone can buy that though, I want a unique shirt only for admitted students.

I feel strange not having to stalk my mailbox or refresh my email anymore... what is next? Tour school? Sit in on a class?

Class of 2012 here. Most of your questions will likely be administrative and better handled by the school, but if anything comes up, feel free to ask questions here or PM me during this time or once you get started. I'm pretty involved in a lot of the extra-curricular activities and with the administration, so I might be of some help.
Has the law school sent out any communications about the 1L Facebook page? I assume that will be later. That should be very helpful. Joining the GSU SBA Facebook group will be very helpful as well once you are about to start.

I fully plan on taking Marta. The station is so close to the law school.

Is the parking situation as horrible as everyone says it is? If I spend 30 minutes looking for a spot, I might as well just take MARTA.
Parking is pretty bad. There are just very few spaces for the 30,000+ students (and however many faculty/staff there are) at the university. The prime deck to get into is the M deck, but it is a lottery system currently, and not everyone gets a space. Since I only drive to school once every week or so, I just got a budget card, but that might be riskier (and more expensive) for someone coming to school regularly at peak times. If you can take MARTA, I would suggest it. That's what I did for my entire first 3 years and what I do now most of the time.
Parking might be more of a problem your 2L or 3L year, depending on whether you get involved in anything off-campus (job, externship, etc.). That's what has necessitated me having to drive about once a week this semester. During your 1L year, you should mostly be focused on classes and studying, so MARTA might be a lot simpler.

In the other thread I decided for you that you will be attending GSU. Congratulations! I'm an excellent picker.

Lets get back on topic.
Does GSU give out free t-shirts at the Accepted Student Reception or Orientation?

Or at the brief affair or encounter?

Fantastic! Thanks

So, I'm missing the Open House because I'll be out of town on the 12th.

Are tours conducted throughout the week? I definitely want to visit asap.
