I'll be attending this fall as well... Anyone going to ASW that's coming up? I got my hotel rooms at the Drury Hotel Union Station for $89/night (the ASW said $114/night). I heard that they don't create the group until after the first deposit deadline (April 15). Probably a good idea in the long run. Did you go to ASW? St. Louis is a great place to practice medicine - the market is very strong. My fiancé will be starting his rotations next fall while I start law school, and he'll be required to do some of them in Vegas. However, when it's finally time to apply for a residency, he's planning on applying only in St. Louis. Medical students usually choose a specialty and then apply broadly throughout the country to whatever suits their interests. However, he's interested in quite a few things, so he's going to apply to several different specialties in St. Louis to make sure he ends up there. I hope thats the case! SLU is my top choice - the anticipation of waiting for decisions has been brutal. Hopefully it'll work out. And I don't think I've heard of a school extending their seat deposit deadline...out of all the deadlines I thought that was probably the one they would follow the most. In my case,an email about the acceptance decision was followed by acceptance letter in mail with other law school related information.

Thanks for the response, yeah their admissions people are some of the nicest I've talked to. My application was received/completed on 03/01 and I got the acceptance email on 04/10.
FYI:The admission staff is awesome.So,if you have questions/concerns pls call them.I am 80% attending SLU
