No - I was told that the bloodwork section is only required for athletes, and my form was approved already. All you really need is the basic physical.msblaw89 wrote:Do we have to get bloodwork done to complete the med form?

Honestly dude, it takes a day to complete. All you need is that yellow card with all your inoculation history and then take that to a doctor for a quick physical. By quick I mean 30 minutes quick.Green Glass Windows wrote:Haha, god I am so relieved that I'm not the only one way behind on the medical stuff. June 10th? How was that supposed to happen??

I'm banking that they cut us " reserve admits" some slack on the June 10th deadline. After all, I only got the admit info on June 2nd ish.Green Glass Windows wrote:Haha, god I am so relieved that I'm not the only one way behind on the medical stuff. June 10th? How was that supposed to happen??
I just sent it in. I gotta believe they'll be cool about it.

yea nothing too serious. Just asked a bunch of questions, checked my vision and usual physical stuff, then pricked my finger to check if I had anemia, I think.Green Glass Windows wrote:Yeah, I mean all I have to do is get the physical. I left everything blank after "clinical tests" and I was fine.msblaw89 wrote:So do we just leave the second portion blank?sf88 wrote:No - I was told that the bloodwork section is only required for athletes, and my form was approved already. I don't think you even need the physical. I spoke to a receptionist at Ganett and she told me all that was required was pages 1 and 4 of the health sheets and my immunization records. I called today and the woman I talked to said I just need to get a tetanus shot because its been 11 years and I'd be in compliance.

I don't think the June 10th deadline is a big deal. The only issue is the August 10th late deadline which results in a $100 fine if missed.T00L wrote:I'm banking that they cut us " reserve admits" some slack on the June 10th deadline. I think this has to be sent straight to the admissions office. That's what I did.msblaw89 wrote:Another questions...official transcripts go through LSAC right?

No. The email expressly says they must come directly from the registrar office of your UG to the Cornell admissions office.msblaw89 wrote:Another questions...official transcripts go through LSAC right?

Also for everyone living in Hughes... is there a certain time we should arrive? I know contracts start on the 18th but is there an order so that everyone is not piling in at the same time?

Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
Both east and west end of the commons has a bus stop that'll get you to the law school pretty quickly. the East end has the 10, which runs every 6-12 minutes during class times, and will get you to the LS in 11 minutes. The west end has a few other routes that go almost directly to the law school. I think that bus runs every 10-15 min, but its a 5 minute ride to schoolloklamora wrote:Still looking for housing. your cornell ID gives you unlimited bus rides your first year. Use them. Very convenient. check routes/schedules on http://www.tcatbus.com/
I lived in the commons this year, wasn't that bad except I lived right above Silky Jones, so i had thumping bass until about 2am most nights of the week. On the plus side i was normally up later reading anyway.
would recommend it.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
