Did they apply as a couple or single? Ugh.
I know right?!!? I'm eager to find out too!

As a single. Unfortunately, he got the Bronx location though hahaha

I remember saying that housing app review will start on May 2, but the decisions will come between May 15 and June 15.

Hopefully we'll hear sooner!

Yeah, I really want housing info.

Currently trying to figure out the logistics of selling my car and then getting everything I own halfway across the country. Fun!

Same here haha. I think I can fit most of it on a carry on + stow away. And then if there's anything small, I can just have my parents ship it.

+1 on being ready to know where well be living!

Where did you guys request? I'm hoping for a 2 bedroom in Lionsgate. The only two I don't want are lenfest or arbor.

I requested Law School housing with a preference for 420 116th or Lionsgate.

I requested the 410 block, or whatever it was called & lionsgate. On second thought, I probably should have said "please by god do not give me arbor" because I don't want to live in the Bronx.

Oh man, if only. I've got a stupid amount of music gear, trying to sell down to a few necessities. Hopefully it'll make moving easier, and give me a little spending money/early loan repayment.

I prioritized proximity to the law school, I figured that'd be the most important for the first year.

Most of the people I spoke to said if you reject your first offer you'll get a second. I'd reject Bronx right away. I'd rather just find my own housing at that point.

oh really? that's good to hear. I thought I read somewhere that they'd just place you on a WL and there's no guarantee of housing at that point.

Can we still edit the comments section and add in: "NOTHING IN THE BRONX!!!" ?

I think we still can edit, but I just said the 400 block or within a few blocks of the law school.

If they give me the bronx I WILL QUIT LAW SCHOOL!111!11!

You're not under review yet right? Then I'd say you can, though I bet if you said anything about wanting to be close to the law school it should be obvious you don't want the Bronx. Also, while rejecting the first offer means you don't have a guarantee of housing (that is what they say), I'd bet what jetissent said is true.

Correct, I'm still "in process". Yeah, that's true. I specified 400 block and lionsgate, so it should be clear. But I just wanted to make it extra clear.

Sowwy :(

Isn't it ironic that my username is Bronck and yet I don't want to live in the Bronx? Jonas Bronck owned a large swath of territory in what we now know as the Bronx. As far as I know, people would say that they were going "to the Bronck's" or that it was "Bronck's land". Thus, the territory/region formally changed its name, later in history, to the Bronx.

Fun fact of the day.

That's a polite way of saying socially awkward. :)

Aha, I'm not nearly that clever. It used to be one from Futurama, but I just changed it to something unrelated to television.
