Has anybody taken the LEEWs course? recommendations on the audio cd set?

Early August. I'm definitely looking forward to getting out of the 100+ Texas heat.

As much as I dislike the Pens, I plan to attend that game every year. I know a ton of Pens fans who will be 2Ls. We can get a group of around 10 or 15 people to go to that game.

Sure. I paid in-state tuition, so my debt load is not as crushing as it could have been. It only took me about two years to stop regretting law school, which is better than a lot of people who graduated when I did.

Minneapolis is a good city, and the cost of living is relatively low. I still think that anyone entering law school in 2012 is either a) crazy; or b) suffering from serious cognitive dissonance, but I'm not going to talk anyone out of the folly.

Seriously though, if you need advice about neighborhoods or activities here, I'm happy to answer questions.

Does anyone know/have a link to the classes for 1st semester?

I have no life and want to read an E&E or something.

Er, this is what I came up with


"First-year students are required to take several courses focusing on the essential skills of reading, analyzing, and applying cases, statutes and constitutional provisions in the areas of contracts, torts, constitutional law, civil procedure, property, and criminal law. Legal writing is required each semester. Entering students can choose one course from among Corporate Law, International Law, Civil Procedure II, and Perspectives on the Law."

Looks like Civ Pro is a safe bet to be a 1st semester class.

Fall Semester:

Civil Procedure
Constitutional Law
Contracts
Torts
Legal Writing

Spring:

Crimial
Property
Legal Writing/Statutory Interpretation
Practice and Professionalism (moot court?)
elective: International or Corporations or Perspectives on Law or Civil Procedure II

Looks like I do not have the best luck because someone signed the last lease at the complex yesterday... Still looking for housing though.

I've been looking for the schedule all over the place. where did you find it?

It's in the brochure they sent out, "Experience Minnesota Law" page 5.

I missed the entry- however on aug 27th you can go to the parking/trans office and get permits that were unclaimed by lotto winners.

I did that a couple years ago and it worked out great, it didn't seem like many people were turned away
