Top Law Schools

I've received offers from V&E and Akin Gump (Houston). Completed callbacks with the Houston offices of Simpson Thacher and Sidley but haven't received any news yet. I'm interested in transactional work but I'm not set on staying in TX after graduating. If I'm aiming to eventually work in NY or Chicago, what would be the best option?

did you end up taking V&E? they have a decent firm culture and are doing well business-wise (lot more deals than Akin Gump)
