TA for multiple classes in the same semester?

Post by Pickles312 » Wed Jun 08, 2022 9:24 am

With 1L over, I've been reaching out yo a few of my professors about TA'ing for them next year, in order to build relationships with them. I think there are two roles I have a decent shot at getting. Unfortunately, it looks like both classes will be held during the same semester next year.

Has anyone here tried to TA for two or more classes in the same semester? If so, was it feasible, or did you regret it? Assume I'm taking at least 2 BLL classes and I'm on a journal.

I know someone who did it so it's certainly feasible, but you may run up against a credit limit sooner than you'd like and end up precluded from TA'ing again (for class credit) down the road. Could be worth it if you want relationships with these profs in particular though.
