UVA class rank
I know uva doesn't release class rank... but where would a GPA in the 3.75-3.8 range put me after 1L fall? Anyone have a sense?

Here is a link of leaked class rankings from 2015: https://www.scribd.com/document/2282837 ... kship-Data
It looks like you'd be between 25-15th in the class if the numbers are similar.

I've heard that the coif cutoff is now 3.8+ these days, which would make sense given the change in policy in ~2014 to allow professors to grade to the curve of non-1L classes.

Thanks. Also, isn't there grade inflation from 1L to graduation? That would put top 10 percent after fall at something like 3.7VirginiaFan wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 2:54 pmSomeone I know from 2020 got coif with a 3.78.jimmythecatdied6 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 2:25 pmI've heard that the coif cutoff is now 3.8+ these days, which would make sense given the change in policy in ~2014 to allow professors to grade to the curve of non-1L classes.
