NYU Grades Back

Post by azamatbagatov » Sun Jan 16, 2022 10:52 pm

Got my fall semester 1L grades back at NYU Law, managed to get straight A-s (3.67 GPA). Does anyone know the approximate percentile?

my guess is top ~15-20%. the cut-off for McKay (for 2Ls) is usually ~3.62, but 2L grades tend to be higher than 1L. congrats! hope this is helpful

The conventional wisdom is that 3.6 or higher = top 25%; 3.76 or higher = top 10%; 3.95 or higher = Top 10 in the entire class.
