How Lenient Are Virtual Semester Accommodations?

Post by wzhh » Sat Jan 08, 2022 8:39 pm

My law school is in-person this spring but is offering full-virtual accommodations for students that need it (not necessarily disability-related). Half of my classes are virtual already, and I really don't want to be in giant lecture halls for the other classes. I don't have any legit reasons for a virtual accommodation other than being nervous about the virus and having an annoying commute between my virtual and in-person classes. Does anyone have an idea of how lenient these virtual accommodations are, or have you had any success getting one for similar reasons?

This is going to be entirely school specific. I’d just ask people at your school (or just ask the appropriate admin directly).
