Graduation

Post by butterflyintraining » Sun Jul 18, 2021 6:35 pm

So this might be an unusual question for the forum (and my apologies in advance if I should put it elsewhere).

Which is better: A party when you graduate or a party when you pass the bar?

Is one more appropriate or socially acceptable?

I think both are perfectly fine and neither is more worthy or less. Life is short, enjoy yourself and your successes.

Either is fine. I know tons of people who did graduation parties and I don't know anyone who did a passing-the-bar party, but there's no reason not to if it's something you want to do.

A "pass the bar" party is normally getting hammered drunk

Post-grad party seems more convenient and preferable since everyone will want some time to relax before buckling down for bar prep. I totally get why people would have post-bar exam parties, though
