Moot Court

Post by studentka20 » Mon Jun 07, 2021 1:06 pm

Hello!

I've been accepted in Willem C Vis and John H Jackson Moot Courts, which one do you think is more prestigious and which one do you advise me to get into given the future career prospects.

Thanks,

nixy

Whichever is of greater interest to you and/or whichever one you think you can tie more directly into your future career plans.

There isn't really a hierarchy of prestige for moot court competitions, at least not one that anyone cares about anyway. Do what you find interesting and what you think will give you bona fides for a practice area that you might be interested in down the road (ie., Duberstein for bankruptcy, GS Rich for patent law).

Both of these seem geared to international law, so, if that is something you want to pursue, do it.
