Washington DC Bar Rule for Remote Study Requirements

Post by FEqualsMA » Sun Apr 25, 2021 9:07 pm

I've checked the recent announcement from DC Bar informing that they are moving to change their rule on admission requirements.

They required students from non-ABA accredited schools to obtain 26 credits from an ABA accredited law school. Due to the pandemic, they had announced that they will allow up to 14 of the 26 credits to be obtained by means of remote study. And they seem to consider to expand this application.
Do you guys think that they will make it a permanent thing for non-ABA accredited students to obtain 14 credits via online education?

^ agree with this, in part b/c I think ABA accredited schools are going to eliminate online offerings as soon as they practicably can.
