It’s not uncommon for law school students to wonder about the possibility of practicing law immediately after earning their JD. Most states don’t allow it, but Wisconsin has recently changed its rules and now allows law students to practice early.

Starting the summer after their first year of law school, most law students can get supervised law practice experience through clinical programs. As things stand now, they have to wait until halfway through their second year.

What do you think about this? Would you like to see this in your state?
