Mental Health Crisis at CLS

Post by tlsadmin3 » Tue Feb 02, 2021 5:08 pm

A recent report revealed that over 82 percent of Columbia Law students claimed to be experiencing heightened anxiety, while over 65 percent indicated that they experienced heightened depression. While student leadership has called for action from the administration, the lack of meaningful response has lead CLS students to create an Instagram account titled @thecolumbialawexperience, providing a platform for students to express their frustration with the administration.

Are you currently a student at CLS? What actions are you hoping the administration take to alleviate the heightened stress of its students? What should the next steps be for CLS students to effect change?
