MPRE Question

Studying for the MPRE. would an attorney who received confidential client info, for the purposes of providing advice to the representing attorney, violate ethics by looking at the documents? The ABA seems to focus on what happens if “adverse” or “opposition” attorneys receive client information. Would only the sharing attorney be in trouble? Or would both?
